Dialogic products are sold directly, as well as through a network of distributors, resellers, and partners, and supplied to OEMs. Dialogic was founded in 1983 in Parsippany, New Jersey by three engineers, Nicholas Zwick and James Shinn, both of whom had worked for Advanced Micro Devices, and Kenneth Burkhardt, formerly with Unisys. Dialogic Practice restores human values by emphasizing listening and responding to the whole person in a context – rather than simply treating his or her symptoms. In psychiatric settings, this is accomplished primarily through a treatment meeting, or Open Dialogue. Drawing on the dialogic principles of the Russian philosopher Mikhail Bakhtin, this approach can also be applied in individual, couple, and family therapy..
This conversation, or dialogue, is not “about” the person, but is instead a way of “being with” the person and living through the situation together. This process mitigates the sense of isolation and distance that a crisis can produce and gives the person at the center of the concern greater voice and agency. Ultimately, this allows them to participate more meaningfully in both the conversation and the resulting decisions about their own lives.

Dialogic’s software business expands Enghouse’s product portfolio
Markham, Ontario – January 2, 2020 – Enghouse Systems Limited(TSX:ENGH) announced today it has acquired Dialogic Group Inc. for a purchase price of approximately $52.0 million, subject to certain adjustments.
Based in Parsippany, New Jersey, Dialogic partners with leading mobile operators, system integrators and technology developers to deploy its solutions via its worldwide network of offices. Dialogic’s revenue over the next twelve months is projected to be between $58.0 million and $63.0 million.
Dialogic is an industry leader in media processing software, with a highly scalable solution that supports real-time video conferencing and collaboration applications across all devices. Dialogic’s infrastructure products offer a best-in-class Session Border Controller and several software-based network solutions to communication service providers. This combination enables the transformation from legacy TDM (time division multiplexing) to next-generation network platforms.
